In an article that is spreading through the internet, Apple’s Steve Job’s response to an impatient buyer – “Are you nuts?”

With the delay in availability of international iPads, Paul Shadwell emailed Steve Jobs, chastising the CEO of holding back the new tablet.

“Twice to my knowledge you have falsely stated international availability of the iPad and while I do not believe this is any fault of your own,” Shadwell said in his email to Jobs, “I can imagine that you are not happy being shown as deliberately pulling the wool over the rest of the worlds eyes.”

“Are you nuts?,” Jobs responded. “We are doing the best we can. We need enough units to have a responsible and great launch.”

The sense of entitlement here is astounding.

I want an iPad, and I want it now!!!!!

Here’s the thing. Apple in a US company. That means that the US gets it first.

And, Apple doesn’t have to sell it to you – think about that for a second.

Just take a deep breath, and relax.

The iPad is a neat device (I have one) but it’s not like it cures cancer. It’s a tablet.

Let’s put things in perspective.
